I got a great cd compilation today called "The first time I met the Blues"
This is a great mix of pre-war recordings featuring:
Blind Willie McTell
Furry Lewis
Sippie Wallace
Jimmie Rdgers
Little Brother Montgomery and many others.
Lots of Delta artists and New Orleans Blues mixes.
This is an awesome cd, I'm really groovin' to this.

Thanks for the info. The band that I play drums in is doing that type of material. I'll look for the CD. Just for your information, check out Onyx Root by Michael Powers and Buddy Guy's
Bring 'Em In, both great CD'S.
