Recently went to Silky's on Beale Street in Memphis and got to hear and meet Barbara Blue. www.barbarablue.com. Great voice - does unbelievable covers of Janis Joplin and did Koko Taylor too. She has a few CDs you might want to get or see if you can catch her show. She is rather odd but that makes her a fun stage presence.
